Control Engineering

The Control Engineering Team has a core of experienced Engineers and highly-qualified Electrical Technicians. They all have a wide range of experience in Machine Control and Automation for the following industries:

• Automotive Production equipment development
• Embedded systems for underground Mining equipment
• Chemical Process control
• Embedded Systems
• Special Purpose Test systems
• Sub-Micron position control
• High performance servo systems

We use the latest EPLAN software for our Electrical documentation and this allows us to generate complete and accurate schematics and BOMs for repeatability of manufacture.

Machine controllers are programmed using structured text and implemented using state machine architecture. This gives us a very flexible and modular code, allowing us to implement virtually any control architecture and process.

We typically use controller hardware from MELSEC and Beckhoff but have experience using numerous others and are able to build systems using almost any type of hardware specified by the customer.
